Hamilton Watch Restoration

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING REPAIR SERVICE

Because my backlog is growing faster than I can handle while maintaining the traditional high standards that my customers have come to expect in my work, I am respectfully requesting that customers DO NOT SEND ANY WATCHES UNTIL AFTER FEBRUARY 29th so that I can try to catch up my current backlog.

I will gladly accept new shipments for estimating or repair again starting February 29, 2012, however PLEASE EMAIL FOR INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO SENDING ANY WATCHES.

Do you have a Hamilton Electric or mechanical watch which runs erratically or not at all?

I offer the same, meticulous restoration service for your watches as I do for every Hamilton Electric or mechanical wristwatch I sell.

Each watch is completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and adjusted to the original factory specifications. You can view a step by step detail of my restoration services here.

PLEASE NOTE: I am no longer repairing Swiss-made Hamilton movements, such as automatic and Thin-O-Matic watches. I am only accepting pre-1969 American-made Hamilton Electric or wind-up mechanical wristwatches for restoration.

"The undisputed dean of Hamilton Electrics"

René Rondeau and his daughter, Christie
(René Rondeau and his daughter, Christie)
as called by the Vintage Wrist Watch Report, I have been specializing in these unique watches since 1986. As the author of The Watch of the Future - The Story of the Hamilton Electric Watch as well as numerous articles in watch publications, I am acknowledged as the leading expert on these watches.

To master the intricate art of electric watch repair I trained with the late Jim Reese, co-inventor of the Hamilton Electric. I am a member of the American Watchmakers Institute and National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

Your Hamilton Electrics can run beautifully and reliably. Send them to me today for expert servicing! All work is fully guaranteed in writing.
